Developing Your Child’s Social Skills

If you haven’t already heard…world renowned speaker, Rick Lavoie, will be presenting at our Family Conference in October. We are thrilled to have him join us to present  “Last one picked, first one picked on… Ten ways that parents and teachers can improve kids’ social skills”. Rick not only gives outstanding presentations but he is a consultant and writer as well and I was thrilled to find this article to share with you. 

The Teacher’s Role in Developing Social Skills” is a look at the important role that teacher’s play in making sure things like “Last one picked, first one picked on…” happens less and less. With school approaching, it’s a good time to review strategies and see how parents and teachers can work together to ensure a socially successful school year takes place.
